Groupe rennais form\u00e9 assez r\u00e9cemment (automne 2022), il puise ses inspirations dans le punk rock et la pop punk des 90\u2019s avec des r\u00e9f\u00e9rences telles que Descendents, Green Day ou les Burning Heads pour un peu de chauvinisme ! Mais on sent aussi dans les compos d&rsquo;autres influences, preuve que les joyeux drilles viennent d\u2019horizons vari\u00e9s et n\u2019en sont pas \u00e0 leur coup d\u2019essai. Les membres de The Playmatics ont auparavant jou\u00e9 dans des groupes de rock au sens large : du hardcore \u00e0 la noise en passant par le math rock et autres joyeuseries ! Toujours est-il que ce mix d&rsquo;influences fait ressortir un punk rock a mi-chemin entre le pop punk et le garage, catchy, m\u00e9lodique et efficace.
