Pour leur premier opus, ils proposent un punk rock rapide, sec, droit au but. \u00c0 la crois\u00e9e du punk 77, du hardcore 80\u2019s, du Ramonescore, du skate punk old school et \u2014 parce qu\u2019il fallait oser \u2014 d\u2019un certain sens du rock de stade. Oui, vraiment.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Ils parlent de <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Brutal Pop Punk<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> ou de <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Boomers Punk Rock<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. Derri\u00e8re la formule, un disque qui assume ses racines : des instrumentaux qui sentent bon les ann\u00e9es 80 et 90, des structures efficaces, des refrains qui te restent en t\u00eate. La tracklist passe en revue leurs obsessions : l\u2019ombre des Ramones et de Screeching Weasel plane sur <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">I Don\u2019t Care<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> ou <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Not Today<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> ; le hardcore \u00e0 la Minor Threat ou Black Flag surgit sur <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Boomers With Attitude<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> ou <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Not Punk Enough<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. Ailleurs, \u00e7a lorgne vers le skate punk et l\u2019emo (<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Moron<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">No Control<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">), avant de s\u2019offrir un d\u00e9tour franchement stadium avec <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Stadium Rock!<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, clin d\u2019\u0153il appuy\u00e9 \u00e0 Twisted Sister.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">C\u00f4t\u00e9 textes, les Drugsters aiment prendre des sujets pas toujours l\u00e9gers et les retourner par l\u2019ironie. Une fa\u00e7on d\u2019aborder le fond sans se prendre pour des porte-paroles. Ils parlent aussi du temps qui passe, du fait de vieillir dans une sc\u00e8ne qui glorifie la jeunesse permanente.
